Mini-entrevista a Jennifer L. Armentrout!!!

La semana pasada me puse en contacto con nuestra querida autora y me concedió el privilegio de hacerle una minientrevista de 5 preguntas. Se las envié y hoy he recibido sus respuestas. ¡Estoy super emocionada de poder haberla entrevistado por fin!

Aquí os dejo mis preguntas y las respuestas de Jennifer tanto en inglés como en español.

Hi Jennifer!

It’s really nice of you to spend some of your precious time talking with us. I really, really appreciate it, cause I know how busy you are. Well, at least, I can imagine. With all of this amazing books coming to live through your mind and your hands, and all of the hours that you dedicate to have it all on time. It’s awesome! How many books have been released this year? I’ve counted it, and if I’m right it’s been released 9 books (counting Sentinel and Bitter Sweet Love) WOW that’s REALLY AWESOME and I admire you so much.

I’ll go to the main point of this little-chat-interview:

1. Saga Lux Spain: Could you tell us something about this mysterious and new saga that you announced on the last live-chat? Just the genre or the main theme…please! If I remember well, you said you’ll tell us something this November 16th, but I’m a little nervous as you can see!  

Jennifer L. Armentrout: I’m not allowed to give any details until after November 16^th, but I’m hoping everyone is going to be excited about it.

SLS: ¿Podrías decirnos algo sobre la nueva y misteriosa saga que anunciaste en el último live-chat? Sólo el género o el tema...por favor! Si recuerdo bien, dijiste que nos dirías algo el 16 de Noviembre, pero estoy algo nerviosa, ¡como puedes ver!

JLA: No puedo decir nada ni dar detalles hasta el día 16 de Noviembre, pero espero que a todo el mundo le haga ilusión.

*Ahhhhhhhhhhh!!! A mí seguro que me va a hacer muchísima ilusión. Qué pena que no me haya podido adelantar nada, pero tenía que intentarlo*

2. SLS: Do you have any kind of ritual when you’re writing, when you start a new book or when you finish it? (Yeah, this question is a kind of three-in-one question, sorry. Answer it the way you prefer, of course) 

JLA: I don’t really have any rituals, but I like to write with background noise and I can’t write if someone is in the room with me.

SLS: ¿Tienes algún tipo de ritual a la hora de escribir, cuando empiezas un libro o cuando lo terminas? (Sí, esta es una pregunta 3 en uno, lo siento. Contesta del modo en que prefieras, por supuesto)

JLA:No tengo ningún tipo de ritual, pero me gusta escribir con sonido de fondo y no puedo escribir si hay alguien en la habitación conmigo.

3. SLS: What kind of scenes do you enjoy to write the most? (Can you tell us some anecdote? Like question 2 XD)

JLA: I like to write action scenes and sexy scenes.  The action scenes can be a little harder when I have to visualize the movements of the characters.  For example, when Alex was fighting in the Covenant series, I would have to play out the entire fight scene in my head so I could write how she was kicking or punching.

SLS: ¿Qué escenas disfrutas más escribiendo? (¿Puedes contarnos alguna anécdota?)

JLA: Me gusta escribir las escenas de acción y las escenas sexys. Las escenas de acción pueden ser más difíciles cuando tengo que visualizar los movimientos de los personajes. Por ejemplo, cuando Alex luchaba en la saga Covenant, tenía que representar la escena completa de lucha en mi cabeza para poder escribir cómo daba patadas y puñetazos.

4. SLS: Which are your favorite characters of each book series that you’ve written? (Covenant, Lux, The Dark Elements, Wait for You) 

JLA: I don’t really have a favorite character from each series.  I do really love Leon in the Covenant series, though.

SLS: ¿Cuáles son tus personajes favoritos de cada una de las sagas que has escrito? (Covenant, Lux, The Dark Elements, Wait for You)

JLA: No tengo ningún personaje favorito de cada serie. Pero me encanta Leon en la saga Covenant.

*Y ahora sé por qué te gusta tanto Leon!!!!!!!!!!!!Y a mí también me encanta!!!!!!!!!!!jajaja*

5. SLS: And the last question is…What’s your favorite writer/book of all your life and in which way it affected/still affects you?  

JLA: Ritchie Cusick is my favorite writer.  I love everything that she has written.

SLS: Y la última pregunta es...¿Cuál es tu escritor/libro favorito de toda tu vida y en qué modo te afectó/te sigue afectando?

JLA: Ritchie Cusick es mi escritora favorita. Me encanta todo lo que ha escrito.
